  • TPM, a strong seafaring tradition

    TPM’s territory has of one of the most beautiful natural harbours in Europe. This advantage makes it the first French touristic destination after Paris. Mixing sea and mountain, beach and cliffs, history and nature, the territory is a real touristic jewel with many facets. The sites worth seeing and admiring are abundant: the Levant islands for their breath-taking quiet and beauty, the coastal path and its relief, the Faron for its unique view, the picturesque Tour Royale and of course, its numerous beaches and coves. Between land and sea, the territory offers a diversity of landscapes for the pleasure of young and old alike.

  • Innovation in the heart of the Mediterranean

    The community of Toulon Provence Méditerranée was created in 2002. Today it includes 12 towns, 427,974 inhabitants and 27,000 businesses. With more than 200 km of coastline, TPM has made the marine environment one of its priorities and its most beautiful asset. In the heart of the Provence Alpes Côte-d’Azur region, Toulon’s community is the Var’s main economic centre and provides a strategic maritime position and a great development potential in the Mediterranean arc.
